“ M A D R I D ”
The name Madrid reflects the nature of the work itself. We build strong systems beneath the surface that provide structure, stability, and continuity over time.
Historically associated with foundation and coordination, Madrid represents quiet authority, where strength shows up in structure rather than visibility.
It is also our family name, which keeps the work personal in the right way and grounded in accountability, durability, and long-term stewardship.
The Operators Behind the Work
Martina Madrid Sebring, Founder & Principal
Madrid Operations Group is led by Martina Madrid Sebring, an embedded operating leader who partners directly with founders and executive teams during periods of growth, transition, or complexity. Martina works alongside leadership to turn strategic intent into durable execution by designing the systems beneath the surface. Her focus is on operating clarity, decision-making infrastructure, and cross-functional alignment so leaders are no longer the bottleneck.
The work is hands-on and embedded. Clients do not receive recommendations and then carry the burden of execution alone. They partner with the person responsible for designing operating systems, establishing rhythm, and ensuring follow-through.
Alexis Madrid, Fractional COO
Alexis brings senior operational leadership to mission-driven organizations that need structure, clarity, and follow-through as they scale. With deep experience spanning operations, development, and cross-functional leadership, she partners closely with executive teams to translate strategy into execution. Her work focuses on building sustainable operating systems, strengthening decision-making infrastructure, and ensuring fundraising, programs, and people move in alignment. Alexis is known for her steady presence, disciplined execution, and ability to create momentum without adding unnecessary complexity.

-
Most organizations do not struggle because of a lack of vision. They struggle because execution is unsupported.
As organizations grow, leadership becomes overloaded with decisions, handoffs, and operational friction. Without strong operating infrastructure, progress slows and accountability becomes diffuse.
Madrid Operations Group exists to build the systems that allow leadership teams to operate with confidence. The work focuses on creating clarity, reducing noise, and replacing reactivity with structure that holds.
The goal is not more ideas. It is execution that works in practice.
-
Fractional operating leadership exists to solve a timing and commitment problem.
Hiring a full-time COO is a significant decision and often not the right one at an early or transitional stage. At the same time, operating without senior leadership creates hidden costs through inefficiency, misalignment, and delayed decisions.
Fractional leadership provides experienced operational ownership when it is most needed. It allows organizations to stabilize, build foundational systems, and move forward intentionally without forcing a permanent hire before the organization is ready.

Madrid Operations Group does not operate as an advisory function.
The work is grounded in ownership rather than observation. Systems are designed to be used, not documented and forgotten. Decisions are clarified so execution does not rely on escalation or individual heroics.
The focus is on calm, durable progress. Infrastructure is built to support leadership long after the engagement ends.
The measure of success is simple: leadership feels lighter, priorities are clearer, and the organization can execute with confidence.
